The press studs of a hood cover must be adjusted to the car to ensure a perfect fit and are therefore supplied separately. Each car has specific dimensions and contours and almost all car manufacturers often change the positions of the press studs during the production years. Press studs that are positioned correctly ensure that the cover fits nicely and remains firmly in place.
For the best result, it is advisable to engage a car upholsterer. They have the necessary tools and can attach the buttons in exactly the right position, ensuring a perfect fit. This prevents problems such as wear and tear of the cover or damage to the car due to a poorly fitting cover.
