By automatic operated convertible tops the tention straps must be replaced in time. 
The original BMW tention staps are cost over €300,- per set.

Because of technical reasons is renewing of the tention straps necessary by car upholsteries.
High-quality tention straps are mounted between the second and third frame to help the electrical opening and closing of the hood.

It's a small, but very important and above all an intelligent handling. A measure with a view to the functional reliability and the avoidance of possible future follow-ups of an error.

Only when replacing the old soft top gives you a clear view of outdated or broken straps. This gives you the opportunity to renew everything.
